Routes and devices,
matched to how you use them
Location selection is for browsing only; it does not change your active connection.
Check performance over peak hours
To assess stability during evening peaks, test in your own network environment. VPN84 offers IEPL, relay and direct routes, so you can compare paths for your needs. If a meeting stutters, pause background downloads first, then test another route with the same client and destination. Check whether audio stays clear and pages load fully. A single download peak does not reflect performance over an entire evening. If the issue occurs only at certain times, note the time, location and error before submitting a support ticket. Your local network, the destination service and route congestion can all affect results, so performance cannot be guaranteed at all times.
No logs and account security
VPN84 follows a no-logs policy and does not require an email address. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe, and treat your subscription link as sensitive: clients use it to retrieve configuration, so do not post it publicly or include it in screenshots. A privacy policy does not guarantee how every app handles your activity. Websites may still identify a session through a signed-in account, browser state or browsing behavior. Read the privacy policy for details on data handling. When contacting support, share only the error details needed to troubleshoot, and hide subscription contents, payment details and other credentials.
Unlimited devices; check each setup
Use an unlimited number of devices online at the same time, whether for desktop work or everyday mobile access. Install a client on each device, sign in to the dashboard and get your subscription separately. After importing it, check that the proxy is enabled. The device limit does not change your plan's data allowance, so keep track of account usage across devices. If a site fails on just one device, check that device's system proxy, app rules and local network first; there is no need to replace the entire account configuration. Keep reproducible error details when switching devices to help distinguish route issues from client settings. Do not share your subscription details publicly.
Separate connectivity from account access
If ChatGPT will not load, first check whether other international websites work. Then determine whether the issue is a page load failure, a sign-in problem or a request denied by the service. VPN84 can provide cross-border access to AI tools, but each platform's regional policies, account eligibility and service status still apply. After changing routes, keep the selected region consistent and start a fresh session; frequent exit-location changes can trigger verification that may look like a network issue. If the browser works but the desktop app does not, check whether the app uses the system proxy. A network subscription does not include an AI platform membership or override its access requirements. Keep the original error message when troubleshooting.
Check playback on the service
Streaming depends on the route, but also on a platform's catalog, account region, playback device and licensing policies. VPN84 offers routes through different regions, but that does not guarantee every route will work with every title. Choose a target region, check that the platform loads, then test the specific title and playback stability. Loading the homepage does not guarantee the resolution you need. Browser cache and old sessions may also retain previous location data. If you see a region notice, note the platform, title and selected route. Check your account requirements, then consult the streaming guide for troubleshooting steps. Do not judge the result by country name alone.
Check the details and keep a record of your request
VPN84 offers a 60-day refund policy. Before choosing a plan, review the price, monthly data reset schedule and data package details. After using the service, assess it against your everyday needs rather than relying only on the overview page. To request a refund, sign in to the dashboard and submit a support ticket explaining your request, with order details to identify the purchase. See the refund policy and terms of service for the applicable scope and process. Troubleshooting notes can help identify issues, but do not share your password or full subscription link. Monthly plans and data packages are billed differently; confirm your order type before contacting support to avoid confusion about billing periods, remaining data or upgrade rules.
Global route overview
VPN84 covers 110+ countries and 180+ routes. The table below highlights popular locations and illustrative route types; it is not a complete list of routes available to your account. Check the dashboard after signing in and your subscription configuration for current route names, types and availability.
| Country / region | City | Illustrative route type | Streaming |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hong Kong | Hong Kong | IEPL | Check the specific platform and title |
| Singapore | Singapore | Relay | Check playback on the service |
| Japan | Tokyo | IEPL | Check account region and catalog |
| United States | Los Angeles | Relay | Check playback on the service |
| Germany | Frankfurt | Direct | Check the platform's regional policies |
| Netherlands | Amsterdam | Direct | Check playback on the service |
Choose by target region, not just distance
When accessing collaboration tools, start with a route that matches the service's target region, then compare page response and call stability. A nearby location does not necessarily mean a shorter network path; ISP peering, egress location and the destination site's own status all affect performance. If you need content for a specific region, first confirm that the platform supports it rather than simply choosing a farther exit.
IEPL, relay and direct describe how a route is organized, not a score for any single experience. For a fair comparison, keep the device, network, destination and time of day consistent. If your local network is unstable, resolve that first before assessing international routes. The route status above is illustrative only; it is not an end-to-end speed test from your device.
Narrow down the issue before switching routes
If no websites load, disconnect the proxy and check your local network first. If just one site fails, keep the original error message and check account and regional requirements. If only an app is affected, check whether it follows the system proxy. Change one thing at a time: this makes it easier to find the cause than reinstalling the client, resetting the network and replacing the subscription all at once. It also makes the issue easier to describe in a support ticket.
When you first get started, keep one verified route for everyday use and learn what the other regions are for. You can compare your experience during peak hours and at quieter times; a brief loading failure does not establish a long-term pattern. For step-by-step troubleshooting, visit the diagnostics page. For full location details, see the routes page.
Platform access and import steps
Sign in to the dashboard to get your subscription. Windows, macOS, Android and Linux users can get the client there; the iOS download link is available when your plan is active. All links lead to the dashboard. This page does not provide installers or direct subscription links.
Import first, then test the connection
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, save your login details, then check your plan and subscription status in the dashboard. Choose your platform in the downloads section, install the client and import the subscription using the dashboard instructions. A successful import means the client displays a configuration and available routes—not just that the download completed. Your subscription link is sensitive account information; do not post it publicly.
Choose a route and connect, then try a familiar international website before checking the app you need. If the website works but the app does not, check the app's proxy settings first. If the client shows no routes, check the subscription update and account status; an empty list does not mean your device is unsupported.
Use multiple devices; keep settings separate
There is no limit on the number of devices connected at once, but permissions and background behavior vary by operating system. On desktop, check that the system proxy is enabled. On mobile, review connection permissions and background restrictions. When moving to another device, retrieve the subscription from the dashboard again rather than using an outdated screenshot or configuration file from an unknown source.
A client launching successfully does not mean every app will automatically use the same route. Test each app against your actual needs to confirm the setup. For the full walkthrough, see the Getting Started Guide. For subscription update failures, mobile background disconnects or DNS issues, follow the symptoms in Troubleshooting.
Choose a plan based on how often you use it
Monthly plans start at ¥9.9/month. Every tier supports unlimited simultaneous devices and comes with a 60-day refund policy. Data resets monthly on your activation date; mid-cycle upgrades are prorated into the remaining days. Compare your monthly usage first, then choose a data allowance—device count does not determine the tier you need.
Monthly plan · 60GB
¥9.9 / month
- 60GB / month
- Unlimited simultaneous devices
- 60-day refund policy
A good fit for browsing, documents and light communication. If you often download large files or stream video for long periods, check your actual usage before deciding whether the allowance is enough.
Get startedMonthly plan · 250GB
¥18 / month
- 250GB / month
- Unlimited simultaneous devices
- 60-day refund policy
A good fit for alternating between work collaboration and media access. Data use varies with file size, video quality and frequency, so fixed viewing times are not a substitute for checking your actual allowance.
Get startedMonthly plan · 500GB
¥28 / month
- 500GB / month
- Unlimited simultaneous devices
- 60-day refund policy
A good fit for frequent file transfers and video access. A larger data allowance does not guarantee access to a platform or a particular route speed; test against your everyday needs.
Get startedIrregular usage? Check the lifetime data packages
¥158 / 300GB · ¥358 / 1000GB · ¥658 / 3000GB
Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. They are billed differently from monthly-reset subscriptions, so compare them against your own usage rather than directly comparing the package total with a one-month price. Before choosing, check the order type, included data and payment amount. Whether you need ongoing access or only use it occasionally is often more useful than price alone.
Alipay, WeChat and USDT are supported payment methods. After paying, return to the dashboard to check the order status and get your subscription configuration. If the status looks wrong, keep the details associated with the order and contact support by ticket. Do not post payment records in public discussions.
View all plans →Account, connection and refund questions
Separate billing rules from connection requirements. Signing in, updating a subscription and accessing a destination website are different checks. If something goes wrong, you do not need to redo everything at once.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Save your login details and keep your subscription information secure. Creating an account and choosing a paid plan are separate steps. The start link does not make monthly plans or data packages free; check the plans page and dashboard order for actual charges.
Can I use multiple devices at once? Is data counted separately for each device?
There is no limit on the number of devices connected at once. Install a client and import the subscription on each device. Unlimited devices does not mean each one gets a separate plan allowance, so check your account's data usage. If a device reports a connection or configuration issue, check its subscription update, permissions and proxy settings first rather than assuming the device limit caused it.
What's the difference between a monthly plan and a data package?
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. Data packages last until used and never expire. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated into the remaining days. If you use the service regularly, compare monthly allowances; for irregular use, check the data packages. Monthly reset rules do not apply to data packages, and the total price alone does not show long-term cost.
Why can't I open a website or app after connecting?
A connected status only means the client established a connection; it does not guarantee the destination platform will allow the current session. Check another website first, then confirm whether the app uses the proxy and review the platform's region and account requirements. If only one destination is affected, save the error message. If nothing loads, test your local network and check whether the subscription updated successfully. See the troubleshooting page for the full diagnostic steps.
How long is the refund period, and where do I apply?
60-day refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the dashboard and submit your request with the order details through the support ticket portal. Read the refund policy and terms of service for full details. Do not include your password or full subscription link in a ticket.
